Are you a 17 year-old high school student? A 43 year-old parent with three kids? A 26 year-old former Division I athlete? A 67 year-old retiree who recently had hip surgery? A 33 year-old law enforcement officer?
The Barn is for you.
Our workouts are tailored to you - regardless of your age, ability, or fitness level. The Barn will challenge the fittest and bring out the inner athlete in everyone. We scale the workouts - not the program. This means that you might be lifting a PVC pipe or 275 pounds (or somewhere in between). Whatever the task, it will be challenging and scaled to you.
We endorse and extensively use CrossFit methods, but we are not a CrossFit gym. This means we use constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity. We anticipate becoming a CrossFit affiliate soon, but in the meantime, please check out CrossFit's main website for more information. It is a great resource!

I am a 53 yr. old heart surgery guy two years removed from triple bypass and almost two years removed from a resurfaced hip. I think I fit your model.
